Da-yé

Louise envisioned a minimalist, brutalist setting for her sandwich & coffee shop located in the heart of Notre-Dame-du-Mont, one of Marseille’s trendiest neighborhoods. She imagined a space with its own unique identity, that could also serve as a backdrop for future exhibitions showcasing local artists. Our goal was to preserve the character of the space while adding thoughtful, functional upgrades.

At its center stands a custom bar in stainless steel with a microcement top—robust, practical, and tailored to the needs for restauration service. To balance the raw textures, we introduced warm wooden tables and chairs against the concrete backdrop.

The shop’s identity comes through in vibrant accents of orange and mustard: a tiled sink niche, a neon logo, curated lighting fixtures, and a bold yellow façade that makes the space instantly recognizable from the street.

The result is an Italian sandwich shop and café that feels simple, distinctive, and true to its vision.
